Killzone 2, Resident Evil 5 and Wii Fit are the top-selling games for the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and Nintendo Wii respectively, reports Gamasutra.

Capcom boasted a strong showing on both the PS3 and 360 lists with RE5 and Street Fighter IV.  Another fighting game, UFC 2009 Undisputed, also stormed both lists despite only being available to consumers for the last two months.

The figures from market research firm NPD Group lists the top five for each console by name, but not specific sales numbers.  Here's a look at each (publisher, release date in parentheses):

According to Gamasutra, the top three Wii titles are also the biggest selling video games overall in 2009, led by Wii Fit at over 3 million units.  Whether it holds the lead remains to be seen with the release of Wii Sports Resort out next week.
